Foreign domestic helpers (FDHs) who received full vaccination in regions where Hong Kong has reached a recognition agreement arrangement on their vaccination records (the currently applicable regions include Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines and Sri Lanka) (please click here to read the full list of applicable regions (Part (III))) may come to work in Hong Kong and must undergo compulsory quarantine at a designated quarantine facility (i.e. Rambler Garden Hotel, the Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong Sha Tin and Regala Skycity Hotel).

As for FDHs who have received full vaccination in Hong Kong, Mainland, Macao or at places of stringent regulatory authorities designated by the World Health Organisation (including Thailand) (note: places specified in Parts (I) and (II) of the list of regions mentioned in the above paragraph), they may undergo compulsory quarantine at a general designated quarantine hotel or a DQF.

Additional rooms at Rambler Garden Hotel in Tsing Yi for quarantine of foreign domestic helpers

The Labour Department (LD) today (January 10) announced that the Rambler Garden Hotel will, starting from February 1, provide an additional 150 rooms for quarantine of foreign domestic helpers (FDHs), such that its number of rooms serving as a Designated Quarantine Facility (DQF) will be increased to 650.

The Labour Department (LD) today (January 10) announced that the Rambler Garden Hotel will, starting from February 1, provide an additional 150 rooms for quarantine of foreign domestic helpers (FDHs), such that its number of rooms serving as a Designated Quarantine Facility (DQF) will be increased to 650.

The LD spokesman said, "Employers of FDHs and employment agencies (EAs) can, starting from 10am on January 11 onwards, reserve a room through the online booking system of the hotel (please click here to enter the booking system). Starting from February 1, the fee per room per night will be at $700 (including three meals and all charges) while the fee per night will still be at $650 before February 1. The hotel will adjust the number of rooms open for reservation each day having regard to the overall booking situation. The Government understands the need of local families for FDHs. However, the local epidemic situation has worsened rapidly, the Government must vigilantly uphold the policy of guarding against importation of cases. The Government will consider whether more DQFs can be provided having regard to the global and local epidemic situation."

Employers and EAs must register using the real name as shown on the valid passport of the residing FDHs, and rooms reserved are not transferrable. Reservation applications made under the name of another person or party will not be processed. When making the room reservation, the FDH's passport copy, a valid employment visa and a recognised vaccination record must be made available. The reservation process is completed upon issuance of a booking confirmation by the hotel. FDHs will need to provide the above documents for verification when they check into the facility.

Employers and EAs should check the flight information and allow sufficient time for preparing the documents required and completing the procedures when arranging for their FDHs to come to Hong Kong. Payment will be refunded to the person making the reservation if a change or cancellation of room booking is required because an FDH has tested positive for COVID-19 before arrival in Hong Kong, or because of a change or cancellation of flights by the airline or a lockdown, provided that relevant supporting documents are submitted in advance. An FDH who does not have a booking confirmation by a DQF will not be allowed to board a flight for Hong Kong or may be denied entry into Hong Kong upon arrival.

The above arrangement for quarantine at DQFs is applicable to FDHs who have been fully vaccinated in regions where Hong Kong has reached a recognition agreement arrangement on their vaccination records (the currently applicable regions include Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines and Sri Lanka). The Government today (December 29) announced that Regala Skycity Hotel (Regala) on Lantau Island will be added as a Designated Quarantine Facility (DQF) for foreign domestic workers (FDHs) from January 2022 onwards. As the Omicron variant is spreading rapidly around the world, the Government needs to reserve all rooms at the Penny's Bay Quarantine Centre (PBQC) for quarantine purposes in order to prevent the variant from entering the community. Starting from January 3, 2022, Phases 1 and 2 of PBQC will thus cease taking reservations for FDHs coming to work in Hong Kong. In its initial period serving as a DQF, Regala will assist the Government in arranging by phases the intake of FDHs residing at PBQC to continue their quarantine. The FDHs, employers and employment agencies (EAs) concerned need not bear any additional costs or make any additional arrangements for the transfer to Regala, and the Government will inform them of the transfer arrangements one by one according to schedule.

A Government spokesman said, "Currently, apart from the PBQC, two DQFs for FDHs (i.e. Rambler Garden Hotel and Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong Sha Tin) are providing a total of 1 000 rooms. Regala will serve as a new DQF with an additional 1 138 rooms starting from January 2022. Recently, the global epidemic situation has worsened considerably due to the Omicron variant. The Government has to stay vigilant to prevent a fifth wave epidemic or outbreak in the community. After reviewing the situation holistically and prudently, the Government deems it necessary to reserve all rooms at the PBQC for meeting the quarantine purpose, and Phases 1 and 2 of the PBQC will cease taking reservations for FDHs from January 3, 2022, onwards. The Government is in discussions with another hotel with a view to having it serve as the fourth DQF within a short period of time. We will continue to include suitable hotels to serve as DQFs for FDHs."

The quarantine/transfer arrangements for FDHs at Phases 1 and 2 of the PBQC are as follows:

  1. For FDHs residing at the PBQC: For FDHs whose quarantine completion date as shown on the compulsory quarantine order falls before January 5, 2022, they will continue to reside at the PBQC to complete the quarantine. As for FDHs with a quarantine completion date falling on or after January 5, 2022, the Government will, starting from January 1, 2022, arrange for them to transfer to Regala by phases. 
  2. For those whose FDHs have yet to check in at the PBQC but have already made an application for a room reservation through the PBQC's booking system: For applicants who have already received an SMS acknowledging receipt of the application, the Labour Department (LD) will inform them one by one through email about the relevant arrangements. As for applicants who have, after receiving the SMS acknowledging receipt of the application, further received a confirmation email from the LD, the relevant arrangements are: (a) FDHs who would check in at the PBQC before January 1, 2022, will be arranged to transfer to Regala by phases from January 1 to continue the quarantine; and (b) for FDHs with an original check-in date at the PBQC falling on or after January 1, 2022, the Government will arrange them to check in at Regala directly upon arrival in Hong Kong.     

The Government will notify the FDHs, employers and EAs concerned one by one according to schedule. These FDHs, employers and EAs need not make any arrangement for the aforementioned transfer or direct check-in at Regala. Nor do they need to separately reserve a room at Regala for the FDHs. The Government will bear relevant costs, including the difference in room rates between the hotel and the PBQC. FDHs at the PBQC will have to undergo a COVID-19 test 24 hours prior to departing for Regala, and only those who are tested negative will transfer to the hotel.

While most of the rooms at Regala will be reserved under the above arrangements for FDHs who would originally undergo quarantine at the PBQC in January 2022, its remaining rooms will be open for quarantine of other newly arrived FDHs. Starting from 9.30am on December 30, 2021, employers and EAs may reserve a room on or after January 5, 2022, through the online booking system of Regala (www.regala-hotels.com). A fee of $750 per night per room (including three meals and all charges) will be payable. The hotel will adjust the number of rooms open for reservation each day having regard to the overall booking situation.

Employers and EAs must register using the real name as shown on the valid passport of the residing FDHs, and rooms reserved are not transferrable. The Labour Department (LD) today (November 12) announced that, starting from December 8, the Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong Sha Tin will be added as a Designated Quarantine Facility (DQF), providing a total of 500 rooms for quarantine of foreign domestic helpers (FDHs) coming to work in Hong Kong. This is a new DQF in addition to the Penny's Bay Quarantine Centre on Lantau Island and the Rambler Garden Hotel in Tsing Yi. In addition, Silka Tsuen Wan will serve for other quarantine purposes from December 1 onwards. The number of rooms provided by the Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong Sha Tin as a DQF will be greater than that provided by Silka Tsuen Wan.

The hotel will confirm with the persons making the reservations individually and arrange to complete the relevant procedures upon receipt of their bookings. It will require the person making a reservation to provide the FDH's passport copy, valid employment visa and recognised vaccination record to verify the identity of the FDH. The booking process will be completed upon issuance of a booking confirmation by the hotel. FDHs will also need to provide the above documents for verification when they check into the facility."

The spokesman continued, "The Government understands the need of local families for FDHs. However, the global pandemic is severe and the Government must vigilantly uphold the policy of guarding against importation of cases. FDHs should be allowed to come to Hong Kong in a risk-controlled as well as gradual and orderly manner. The Government will consider whether more DQFs can be provided having regard to the global and local epidemic situation."

Employers and EAs should allow sufficient time for preparing the documents required and completing the procedures when arranging for their FDHs to come to Hong Kong. They should only book an air ticket for their FDHs after a room has been successfully reserved in a DQF. If a person making the reservation fails to submit the documents required or settle the payment within the specified period of time, his/her booking may be cancelled. Payment will be refunded to the person making the reservation if a change or cancellation of room booking is required because an FDH tests positive for COVID-19 before arrival in Hong Kong, or because of a change or cancellation of flights by the airline or a lockdown, provided that relevant supporting documents are submitted in advance. If there is a need to change the check-in date due to other special circumstances, the hotel will exercise flexibility having regard to the individual merits of each case. If an FDH does not have a booking confirmation by a DQF, the FDH will not be allowed to board a flight for Hong Kong or may be denied entry into Hong Kong upon arrival.

Labour Department reminds foreign domestic helpers to take note of compulsory testing notices and comply with social distancing measures

The Labour Department (LD) today (January 14) reminded foreign domestic helpers (FDHs) to take note of and comply with the compulsory testing notices (CTN) to undergo free COVID-19 testing on time, and appealed to them to comply with social distancing measures announced by the Government.

The Labour Department (LD) today (January 14) reminded foreign domestic helpers (FDHs) to take note of and comply with the compulsory testing notices (CTN) to undergo free COVID-19 testing on time, and appealed to them to comply with social distancing measures announced by the Government.

An LD spokesman said, "According to the CTNs issued by the Government, any persons who had been present at specified places during specified date(s) and time period(s) should undergo the multiple tests on time as required. The above compulsory testing requirement also applies to those who have completed a COVID-19 vaccination course. The LD has disseminated the latest information to FDHs through various channels, including Consulates-General of FDH-sending countries in Hong Kong, FDH and employer groups, employment agency associations, etc. The LD calls on employers to remind FDHs who had been present at specified places during specified date(s) and time period(s) to undergo testing. FDHs can undergo the tests at community testing centres or mobile specimen collection stations. Details of compulsory testing matters can be found at the Government's thematic webpage (www.coronavirus.gov.hk/eng/early-testing.html). Persons may also click here for the CTNs."

The Government will strictly enforce CTNs. Any person who fails to comply with a CTN commits an offence and may be fined a fixed penalty of $5,000. The person will also be issued with a compulsory testing order requiring him or her to undergo testing within a specified time frame. Failure to comply with the order would be liable to a fine at level 4 ($25,000) and imprisonment for six months.

The spokesman continued, "According to the Prevention and Control of Disease (Prohibition on Group Gathering) Regulation (Cap. 599G) and the Prevention and Control of Disease (Wearing of Mask) Regulation (Cap. 599I), a person who participates in a prohibited group gathering of more than four persons in public places or fails to wear a mask in accordance with the requirement may be charged a fixed penalty of $5,000. On January 15 and 16, the LD will, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Police Force, the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, the Home Affairs Department and the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, conduct mobile broadcasts in multiple languages at popular FDH gathering places, including Central, Tamar Park in Admiralty, Victoria Park in Causeway Bay, Tsuen Wan Park, the footbridge near Fa Yuen Street in Mong Kok, etc, to call upon FDHs to comply with the relevant requirements. Relevant departments will take enforcement action against those who still refuse to abide by the regulations after repeated reminders.

"We remind FDHs to strictly observe the requirements and appeal to them to avoid gatherings (including those in boarding facilities), food sharing and other social activities on their rest days and holidays, and stay at home for rest as far as possible in order to safeguard their personal health and reduce the risk of infection. We also encourage employers and FDHs to discuss rest day arrangements, so as to minimise the health risk of participating in social activities."

Employers are reminded that they must not compel their FDHs to work on a rest day. An employer who compels his or her FDH to work on a rest day without the agreement of the FDH, or fails to grant rest days to the FDH, is in breach of the Employment Ordinance and is liable to prosecution and, upon conviction, to a maximum fine of $50,000.

Moreover, according to Clause 3 of the Standard Employment Contract, all FDHs working in Hong Kong must work and reside in the employer's residence during their employment period. If an employer breaches the above Clause and/or fails to provide the FDH with free, suitable and furnished accommodation, it will be one of the factors in the Immigration Department's consideration of the employer's future applications for employing an FDH. The adverse record may lead to any such application being refused. Furthermore, in case employers and/or FDHs knowingly furnish a false representation/statement to immigration officers in the course of a visa application, including the intended accommodation arrangement, they may be subject to criminal investigation and prosecution of the relevant offence.

The LD has issued letters to all employment agencies (EAs) providing FDH placement services to remind them that arrangements should not be made for any FDH under employment to stay at a place other than the employer's residence, including the boarding facilities provided by the EAs. The LD also reminded those EAs that if it is necessary to provide boarding facilities to FDHs who have ceased to be employed, they should avoid arranging FDHs to stay in overcrowded environments and ensure that appropriate infection control measures are in place at their boarding facilities.

All Hong Kong residents, including FDHs, can get vaccinated for COVID-19 free of charge. For booking and details, please visit the designated website of the Vaccination Programme (www.covidvaccine.gov.hk). The Government appeals to FDHs to get vaccinated as soon as possible to protect themselves and others.

The Government today (December 28) announced that the measures to assist foreign domestic helpers (FDHs) and their employers to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic will be extended with immediate effect.

The Government today (December 28) announced that the measures to assist foreign domestic helpers (FDHs) and their employers to cope with the COVID-19 pandemic will be extended with immediate effect.

Extension of validity period of existing contracts

The Government will continue to implement the previous measure to enable employers to extend the validity period of the existing contracts with their outgoing FDHs. For all FDH contracts that will expire on or before March 31, 2022, the Commissioner for Labour has given in-principle consent for extending the employment period stated in Clause 2 of the Standard Employment Contract for a maximum period of six months, on the basis that such variation is agreed upon by both the employer and the FDH. However, applications for further extension of those contracts which have already been extended under the previous flexibility arrangement, including that announced on September 28, 2021, will not be considered.

If arrangements cannot be made for a newly hired FDH to come to Hong Kong within the above-mentioned six-month extended period and the employer needs to continue to employ his/her FDH beyond the six-month extended period, the employer should consider applying for contract renewal with the existing FDH.

Deferral of return to the place of origin

Under the prevailing mechanism, an FDH on a renewed contract with the same employer, or due to start a new contract with a new employer upon the expiry of an existing contract, may apply to the Immigration Department (ImmD) for deferring return to the place of origin for not more than one year after the existing contract ends, subject to the agreement of his/her current employer or new employer.

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government will further extend the current flexibility arrangement. If an FDH is unable to return to his/her place of origin within the aforementioned one-year period, he/she may, upon agreement with his/her employer, apply to the ImmD for a further extension of the limit of stay until the end of his/her contract such that he/she may return to the place of origin within that period. Same as applications for contract renewal with the same employer, such applications are acceptable within eight weeks prior to the expiry of the existing contract.

The Government reminds employers and FDHs that the above flexibility arrangement must be mutually agreed between the employer and the FDH, and that the requirement that FDHs should return to their place of origin continues to be in place. Employers should arrange for their FDHs to return to the place of origin within the extended limit of stay.

The Government will continue to closely monitor the situation and review the above measures and flexibility arrangements as and when necessary.

To tie in with the disease prevention measures and reduce the flow of people, the Government appeals to members of the public to submit visa applications for FDHs and further employment of FDHs through online means or the ImmD mobile application. Apart from setting up a dedicated "Online Services for Foreign Domestic Helpers" webpage at(www.immd.gov.hk/fdh), the ImmD further enhanced the visa application service through better use of digital technology and launched electronic services for visa application and an "e-Visa" arrangement on December 28. Upon approval of their applications, the applicants may pay the visa fee through various means and download the "e-Visa" on their personal mobile devices or print the "e-Visa". Members of the public may also enquire about application status and submit supplementary documents and notification of premature termination of employment contract via the above dedicated webpage. There is no need for them to attend an office of the ImmD in person to go through the formalities, which is both convenient and time-saving while reducing the need to travel and contributing to the efforts to fight the virus together.

The Government also urges employers and their FDHs to be mindful of the limit of stay and the passport validity of the FDHs and arrange for application for visas and replacement of passports in advance.

(b) नमूनामा गरिएको परीक्षण COVID-19 को लागि एक न्यूक्लिक एसिड परीक्षण हो; र
(c) परीक्षणको नतीजा प्रासंगिक FDH COVID-19 को लागी नकारात्मक परीक्षण गरेको थियो;
2. प्रयोगशाला वा स्वास्थ्य सेवा संस्थाले सम्बन्धित FDH को नाम र परिचय पत्र वा राहदानी नम्बर बोकेका परीक्षणको लागि रिपोर्टको मूल;
3. अंग्रेजी वा चिनियाँ भाषामा प्रयोगशाला वा स्वास्थ्य सेवा संस्था स्थित रहेको सरकारको सम्बन्धित प्राधिकरण द्वारा प्रयोगशाला वा स्वास्थ्य सेवा संस्था सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त वा अनुमोदित भएको प्रमाणित पत्र; र
4. हङकङको प्रासंगिक FDH को आगमनको दिनबाट सुरु भएको 14 दिन भन्दा बढीको लागि हङकङको होटेलमा एउटा कोठा रिजर्भेसनको अंग्रेजी वा चिनियाँमा प्रासंगिक FDH को पुष्टि छ।

रोजगारदाताहरूले न्यूक्लिक एसिड परीक्षण र आवास खर्च उठाउनु पर्नेछ, साथै अनिवार्य क्वारेन्टाइनको समयमा उनीहरूको FDHs लाई खाना भत्ता प्रदान गर्नेछ।

माथिका उपायहरूसँग सम्झौता गर्न, अध्यागमन विभाग (ImmD) ले FDH भिसाका लागि आवेदनमा नयाँ व्यवस्था लागू गर्नेछ। तत्काल प्रभावको साथ, रोजगारदाताहरूले आफ्नो FDH का लागि भिसाका लागि आवेदन दिइरहेका छन् (ती आवेदनहरू पेश भए पछि स्वीकृत वा पेसा स्वीकृत भैरहेको सहित) उनीहरूले COVID-19 परिक्षण र होटल क्वारेन्टाइनको व्यवस्था गर्ने संकेत दिन र यदि उनीहरूको FDHs जुलाई 25, 2020 पछि आउँदैछ भने सम्बन्धित लागतहरूको लागि जिम्मेवार हुन एउटा उपक्रममा हस्ताक्षर गर्न आवश्यक छ। यदि रोजगारदाताहरूले उपक्रम भङ्ग गरेको पाइएको छ भने उनीहरूको FDHs हङकङमा प्रवेश गर्न अस्वीकृत हुन सक्छ र FDHs रोजगारका लागि ती रोजगारदाताहरूबाट भविष्यका आवेदनहरू अस्वीकृत हुन सक्छन्।

सरकारले आज (जुलाई 18) घोषणा गर्‍यो कि त्यसले रोग निवारण तथा नियन्त्रण (सीमा नाका र यात्रुहरूको नियमन) नियमावली (क्याप. 599H) को अन्तर्गत कोरोनाभाइरस रोग 2019 (COVID-19) को आयातित केसहरूको संख्यालाई कम गर्न सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्यको आधारमा सर्तहरू लागू गर्न उचित विवरण ग्याजेट गर्‍यो। एक यात्री, जुन दिन यात्री एक नागरिक उड्डयन विमानमा सवार भएर आइपुग्छ, वा हङकङ आइपुग्न लागिरहेको छ, वा त्यस दिन अघि 14 दिनको अवधिमा कुनै खास स्थानमा बसेको छ (जस्तै बंगलादेश, भारत, इन्डोनेसिया, नेपाल, पाकिस्तान, फिलिपिन्स र दक्षिण अफ्रिका) भने, उसले खाद्य र स्वास्थ्य सचिवले तोकेको शर्तहरू पूरा गर्नुपर्नेछ। सम्बन्धित विनिर्देशहरू जुलाई 25, 2020 को बिहानको 0.00 देखी प्रभावी हुनेछ र अर्को सूचना नभएसम्म प्रभावी रहनेछ।

श्रम विभाग (LD) ले विदेशी घरेलु सहयोगीहरू (FDHs), रोजगारदाताहरू र रोजगार एजेन्सीहरू (EAs) लाई माथि उल्लिखित विवरणहरूको नोट लिन सम्झना गराउँछ। FDH को लागि, जसको लागि विनिर्देशहरू लागू हुन्छन्, उसले / उनले निम्न कागजातहरू प्रदान गर्नुपर्दछ:

1. अंग्रेजी वा चिनियाँमा चिठी वा प्रमाणपत्र प्रयोगशाला वा स्वास्थ्य सेवा संस्थाले जारी गरेको नाम र परिचय पत्र वा सम्बन्धित FDH को राहदानी नम्बर देखाउँदा:
(a) प्रासंगिक FDH ले COVID-19 को लागि न्यूक्लिक एसिड परीक्षण पारित गर्यो, जुन नमूना निर्दिष्ट विमानको प्रस्थानको निर्धारित समयभन्दा 72 घण्टा भित्र सम्बन्धित FDH बाट लिएको थियो;
(b) नमूनामा गरिएको परीक्षण COVID-19 को लागि एक न्यूक्लिक एसिड परीक्षण हो; र
(c) परीक्षणको नतीजा प्रासंगिक FDH COVID-19 को लागी नकारात्मक परीक्षण गरेको थियो;
2. प्रयोगशाला वा स्वास्थ्य सेवा संस्थाले सम्बन्धित FDH को नाम र परिचय पत्र वा राहदानी नम्बर बोकेका परीक्षणको लागि रिपोर्टको मूल;
3. अंग्रेजी वा चिनियाँ भाषामा प्रयोगशाला वा स्वास्थ्य सेवा संस्था स्थित रहेको सरकारको सम्बन्धित प्राधिकरण द्वारा प्रयोगशाला वा स्वास्थ्य सेवा संस्था सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त वा अनुमोदित भएको प्रमाणित पत्र; र
4. हङकङको प्रासंगिक FDH को आगमनको दिनबाट सुरु भएको 14 दिन भन्दा बढीको लागि हङकङको होटेलमा एउटा कोठा रिजर्भेसनको अंग्रेजी वा चिनियाँमा प्रासंगिक FDH को पुष्टि छ।

एक LD प्रवक्ताले भने, "प्रासंगिक FDH हङकङको लागि उडानको लागि चेक-इन गर्नु अघि, उसले / उनले विमानमा चढ्नका लागि विमानको अपरेटरलाई माथिको कागजातहरू प्रस्तुत गर्नुपर्नेछ। रोजगारदाता र EAs (लागू भएमा) लाई सम्झना गराइन्छन् कि उनीहरूको FDHs को लागि पहिले नै आवश्यक तयारी गर्नुहोस्। यदि FDH ले खाद्य तथा स्वास्थ्य सचिवले तोकेको कुनै पनि सर्तहरू पूरा गर्न सक्षम छैन भने उनलाई हङकङको उडानमा चढ्न अनुमति नपाउन सकिन्छ र भर्खरै आएका FDHs लाई हङकङमा आइपुग्दा प्रवेश गर्न अस्वीकार गर्न सकिन्छ। प्रासंगिक FDHs को 14 दिनको अनिवार्य क्वारेन्टाइनको दौरान क्वारेन्टाइन अर्डरमा भनिएझैं होटल ठेगानामा रहन सम्झाइन्छ। "

"नियोक्लिक एसिड परीक्षणको लागत रोजगारदाताहरूले उनीहरूको FDHs का लागि तिर्नुपर्नेछ। घरेलु मद्दत गर्नेहरूलाई रोजगार दिनका लागि अध्यागमन विभागमा (immD) आवेदन गर्ने रोजगारदाताहरूले सरकारलाई एउटा उपक्रममा हस्ताक्षर गर्न आवश्यक हुनेछ, जसले संकेत गर्दछ कि तिनीहरू प्रासंगिक विशिष्टताहरूको पालना गर्दछन् र हङकङमा आफ्नो FDHs आउने क्रममा न्यूक्लिक एसिड टेस्टको लागत वहन गर्दछन्, यदि उनीहरूको FDH एक निर्दिष्ट स्थानमा बसेका छन्, जुन दिनमा उनीहरू विमानमा चढेर आइपुगेको थिए, वा हङकङ आइपुग्न लागेको छ, वा त्यस दिन अघि 14 दिनको अवधिमा। रोजगारदाताहरूले उपक्रम भंग भएको फेला पारेमा प्रतिकूल रेकर्ड दिइन्छ र आईएमडीले उनीहरूका भविष्यका आवेदनहरू FDH का रोजगारीका लागि अस्वीकार गर्न सक्दछन्। रोजगारदाताहरूलाई मानक रोजगार सम्झौता अन्तर्गत आफ्नो दायित्वहरू अनुपालन गर्न पनि सम्झाइन्छ। "आवास खर्च वहन गर्न र FDHs अनिवार्य क्वारेन्टिनको समयमा FDHs लाई खाना भत्ता प्रदान गर्ने लगायत," प्रवक्ताले भने।

"EAs का लागि उनीहरूसँग नियोक्ताहरू र FDH लाई सहि सूचना प्रदान गर्ने जिम्मेवारी छ। उनीहरूले रोजगारदाताहरूलाई सम्बन्धीत सुविधाहरूको पालना गर्न सान्दर्भिक व्यवस्था गर्नका लागि सम्झाउनुपर्दछ र / वा उनीहरूलाई सहयोग गर्नुपर्दछ। यदि त्यहाँ प्रमाण छ कि EA ले रोजगार एजेन्सीहरूको लागि अभ्यास संहितामा आवश्यकताहरूको उल्लंघन गरेको छ भने सम्बन्धित EA लाई दण्ड दिइनेछ।"
